Our family consists of five people.  Rob (the daddy) was born and raised in Canada, but has lived overseas since 1995, and now calls Australia home.  He worked as an engineer for Shell International for nearly 13.5 years before  starting a new career as an Associate Professor  at a university in Brisbane.  A brief summary of his professional activities is on offer via www.perrons.net

Shannon (the mommy) was raised in Queensland, Australia, and convinced her husband to move to that part of the world after several years of living overseas.  She is a chartered civil/structural engineer both in Australia and the state of Texas, has a MBA, and works for Glencore Coal in the role of Infrastructure Lead.

Carson (our eldest), Aiden (our second oldest), and Alex (the baby) are our three boys.  All three were born in New Orleans, but can now be safely described as “true-blue Aussie blokes.” We live in a house in a suburb of Brisbane.
